The owners of this development are well experienced people who have done numerous developments on the Sunshine Coast, and in Brisbane and surrounds, including Noosa Waters, The Beach Houses at Noosa, Hotel Laguna at Noosa, The Entrance, Allambi and many other unit projects. They identified this site some four years ago with the long-term intention of developing it into a high-class residential development.
Since the site was purchased they have upgraded the hotel to a standard which implies the direction of the new hotel, residential and commercial project.
That is, of an extremely high standard.
It is their intention with the new development to remove the existing hotel and replace it with a residential area of 35 units, a new hotel and a piazza style commercial precinct.
With the owners retaining the management rights of the units, the hotel and commercial areas, with the philosophy of the boutique hotel and all that that involves, the function facilities and the general attraction of the building, it is expected that the letting of the units will be a strong point in the overall concept of the investment. Of course this will not preclude owner-occupiers, or investors who do not want to let, from purchasing. However those that do, from an investment perspective, should see excellent occupancy rates. Overall this project is a ‘one-off’. A project that the developers are already proud of because of its uniqueness, its concept, its position and primarily its future.
